Meet our Executive Chef
Behind the scenes at Healthy For Life Meals, working hard 7-days a week, you’ll find our Executive Chef, Director of Operations, and Owner – Jim Keegan. Jim leads our team of culinary professionals to create, package and distribute thousands of fresh, nutritionally controlled meals each week.
Jim is a 1990 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, named America’s #1 culinary school, in Hyde Park, NY, and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Metro State University in Minneapolis, MN. His culinary experience is vast, ranging from The Cornell Club – New York, NY, to the Saint Paul Hotel – St. Paul, MN, to the United States Navy, and much more. Prior to launching Healthy For Life Meals in 2002, Jim was Division Sales Manger at US Foods, consulting with and advising foodservice managers and owners throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. In his free time (which is scarce!) Jim is an avid marathon runner, an Ironman, and a tremendous athlete overall.
